Skills Video Series for Nurses & Nursing Assistants
This Basic Nursing and Nurse Aide Training video collection on 5 DVDs demonstrates how to provide safe and competent care. More than fifty basic nursing skills are performed in detail by real nurses on real people. This resource is ideal for nursing educators. It shows students exactly what they will see and do beyond the classroom. For health-care administrators, this series and curriculum can give your nurses and nurse aides the evaluation tools they need to provide the best in care.
Included with the DVDs is a curriculum of quizzes and other resource tools for assessing knowledge and providing better patient care.

Nurse Educator |
| I have been using these videos in my classroom as a supplement and they are excellent! I have also had them put online you have to contact the company for this and they are a great student resource. The procedures are performed as they are in real life in a concise manner and each video has tips at the end. The videos have been great for nurse aide courses and fundamental nursing courses. One video shows a shower from start to finish and has been very helpful to show students before their clinical experience. My students say they feel more prepared for their first patient contact because they have watched these videos. |

Great teaching tools and realistic demonstrations |
| I use these DVDs for my CNA classes. They have great information about what to report and what to watch for, including safety concerns. I really like the way that they are filmed in a facility with patients instead of in a school or staged somewhere, using students for patients. The videos of baths are especially realistic and thurough, and a nice thing to show students before they are bathing a live patient in clinicals. These really help to give them that sense of I have seen this before. I think the information is perfect for CNA students and Basic Nursing students. |
