A colorimetric CO₂ detector can be used only once and on living people. This Simulated Colorimetric CO₂ Detector can be used countless times on manikins and standardized participants. Inspired by colorimetric CO₂ detectors such as the Nellcor Easy Cap II and the Ambu detector, this detector adds realism to scenarios.

• Simulates patients' exhaled CO₂ conditions, including endotracheal tube insertion statuses
