ICU Medical BLUselect® Cuffed Tracheostomy Tube, 9.0MM

BLUselect^® cuffed tracheostomy tubes feature a patented low-pressure, high-volume SOFT-SEAL^®, designed to provide an effective seal and minimize trauma upon insertion. Each cuffed tube has distinct markings on the pilot balloon, providing relevant information such as inside diameter (I.D.) and French sizes.

• Latex-free and DEHP-free
• Includes two inner cannulas
• Each flange size is labeled a different color, increasing patient safety by creating an easy identifier to match tubes with inner cannula
• Flange is soft and clear with laser printed numbers that cannot be altered by secretions or cleaning
• Thermosensitive Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) tubes provide sufficient rigidity for initial insertion, then soften at body temperature to accommodate individual patient anatomy
• Tube material is radio-opaque to enable confirmation of tube positon under X-ray
• Built in 15mm ISO connector for ventilation circuit connection with or without an inner cannula in place
• Obturator provides rigidity for tube insertion; rounded obturator tip causes minimal trauma for insertion
• Special clip design minimizes obturator tip movement during tube insertion
