Each model offers a patented Simulex^™ insert available with vascular access anatomy of the upper thorax and neck. Teach students to use traditional external landmarks for blind insertion central line placement, or ultrasound to guide the central venous access procedure. The Simulex^™ tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with 18-21 gauge needles.
