The Blue Phantom knee model incorporates all the anatomy required to teach, learn and practice the skills associated with joint injections and aspirations of the knee. This model replicates the tendons and ligaments of the knee to provide a lifelike training environment. Students can learn and practice the psychomotor skills associated with ultrasound-guided, or blind insertion of knee injections and aspirations associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The patented Simulex^™ tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with 18-21 gauge needles.
